EXTRACT BROKEN KEY
Have You Broken a Key in Your Car?
Accidents happen. If you’ve ever broken a key off in your car, then you know the struggles of having to try and figure out rides and gaining re-access to your vehicles.
Most key extractions can become a minor pain because you have to wait and ensure the work is done quickly, but during that time it’s important to remember what to do while you wait for the emergency services.
What to Do When You’ve Called Our Emergency Services
- Call a Professional
The first thing you should do when calling a professional is getting as many details as possible. Where are you, what are you wearing, what does the car look like, is the car on, is the car in a parking lot or on the street? The more details we have, the quicker it will be for us to get to your location promptly.
- Find Someplace Safe
Next thing you need to do is find someplace safe. If you are waiting for your car, you are risking being scammed or seen as a vulnerable target. The best bet is to pop into a café or a nearby public building that is a little bit closer to your car, but more importantly, you need to keep your car in eyesight.
- Stay in the Eyesight
Staying in eyesight of the car is important because you need to be able to monitor your vehicle and be able to move over there quickly in the event your locksmith arrives.
